Giving Back To Those That Have Served

Since starting our own business's, we have done completely cost free projects for veterans in our community. The owners of Helmco Fences and Rain City Fence, Caleb and Bradley Helm, have teamed up to choose a deserving veteran to build a fence project. We have had our friends and family come help to complete these projects. Caleb served as a US Marine FA-18 aviation ordinate mechanic based out of San Diego, CA from 2005-2009 in the training squadron VMFAT-101 and with one non-combat overseas deployment on the USS Nimitz with unit VMFA-232 in 2008. Bradley served as a combat medic in the 82nd Airborne, 2nd Brigade, 325 Airborne Infantry Regiment at Fort Bragg, North Carolina from 2010-2014 with a deployment to Iraq in 2011.

Caleb and Bradley chose a deserving veteran to build a free fence project because they want to give back to those who give us our freedom. If you know any veteran that is in need of a fence, please let us know at office@helmcofences.com

Ritchie's Project

Caleb met Mariana Ritchie at their property in West Seattle, and learned that Steve Ritchie was a fighter pilot in Vietnam with 5 confirmed enemy kills and 339 missions complete. We decided we would rebuild their fence free of charge as a thank you for their service. You can read about the Ritchie’s here: www.generalsteveritchie.com.

Adolphson's Project

Jean is a 96 year old widow who married a WWII veteran named George Adolphson. George was injured in battle and paralyzed waist down in WW2, and Jean was there for George during his recovery and still choose to marry George knowing her life would be much more difficult. Jean and George wasn’t able to have kids due to George’s injury. We are happy to give back who sacrificed to give us our freedoms.

Rudd Project

Sunni Rudd was in need of a fence and couldn't really afford one. Her late husband had served in the US Navy and we provide her a fence at no charge as a thank for Joel's service

Teague's Project

We built this project for Blava Teague who served in the 11th Armored Cavalry in the US Army. He served in the Vietnam War and we are glad we could give back to this veteran.
